Pre-K

The SFA Pre-K program is structured to prepare children for success in school. Activities are age-appropriate and our engaging environment encompasses all aspects of child development: social, cognitive, emotional, physical and cultural. The full-day program is located in the home-like setting of the St. Francis Spirituality Center and is adjacent to an enclosed garden and playground. Children enjoy ample time for self-expression through free play as well as structured activities. With a teacher/student ratio of 1:7, we limit enrollment to 14 children. While the program is based on Catholic traditions and values, we welcome families of all faiths.

After-School Care

SFA has a licensed child care facility available for the care of our students and the convenience of our parents. In the after-school-care program, the staff provides consistent adult role modeling, supervision, and activities that are appropriate to the children’s intellectual and recreational needs. Students receive a healthy snack and they work in the library to complete their homework, play outdoors, or in the fully-equipped indoor play area. Located in the lower level of the school building, we have met the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Human Services' Division of Regulated Childcare guidelines in the design and maintenance of the space.
Please call 502-473-0617 for information about fees and openings.

After-School Care Hours are: 3:00 – 5:45 p.m.

Summer Care

The Summer Care program is a mix of structured fun, adventure, and independent free play time with games, sports, arts and crafts, and activities. Participants enjoy their summer days at St. Francis and on field trips twice a week to such places as museums, movies, restaurants, and culture organizations. Students also participate in activities like roller skating and swimming.

Summer Care Hours are:  7:30 am – 5:45 p.m.
